Mirror Mirror represents a pathway of visual reflection between reality and abstract expression. Acrylic and enamel paint are poured and pushed around on the surface with hand tools rather than brushes to create an entirely open-ended composition, without a clear figure or ground. The composition is improvised and worked through from every angle, so that there is not a final orientation until the last stages. Mirror Mirror embodies our cosmic spirit in time and space with an altered point of view, as we inwardly gaze into our reflection.
