Artist Talks for Young Audiences: Eric-Paul Riege

For our inaugural Artist Talks for Young Audiences talk presented in conjunction with ICA Miami’s Virtual Summer program, Youth Coordinator Itzel Basualdo moderates a conversation between artist Eric-Paul Riege and students from YAI. Working across media with an emphasis on woven sculpture, wearable art, and durational performance, Eric-Paul Riege’s work is a celebration of hózhó, the worldview fostered by Diné, or Navajo, and its bearing on everyday experience. ICA Miami presented Riege’s first solo museum exhibition, “Hólǫ́—it xistz,” in 2019.
