Getting Here
The accessible curb ramp to the ICA Miami’s entrance is just west of the main entrance. All main entry and exit ways are equipped to open with accessibility buttons.

Galleries
All three levels of the Museum are accessible by elevator.

Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are located on each floor. Gender-neutral single-stall restrooms are located on our first and second floors.

Courtesy Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis at our Visitor Services desk.

For Visitors with Autism Spectrum Disorders or Sensory Sensitivities

Sensory-Friendly Kits
Sensory-Friendly Kits are available for visitors with sensory processing disorders at the front desk! Our sensory-friendly kits come equipped with noise-canceling earmuffs, sunglasses, various fidget toys, and an emotion chart to enhance your experience at ICA Miami. Please note: our sensory-friendly kits are not available at this time to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

For Visitors Who Are Deaf or Hearing Impaired

American Sign Language (ASL)
Sign language interpreters for tours and public programming may be requested free of charge at access@icamiami.org. Please make requests at least 2 weeks in advance.

Live Captioning
Live captioning is enabled for our virtual programs and events.

Transcripts
Transcripts of our audio tours are available at our Visitor Services Desk.

For Visitors Who Have Visual Impairments

Audio Guides
Free guided audio tours at ICA Miami provide guests an opportunity to dive deeper into exhibitions on view via an immersive audio experience featuring artists, scholars, educators, and more. Guided audio tours can be experienced using a mobile device or on audio guides that can be rented from our Visitor Services Desk.

Large Print Guides
Large print museum guides are available at our front desk. Ask a Visitor Services Associate for assistance.

Service Animals

All guide dogs and service animals individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability are welcome. Learn more at the ADA National Network.

Accessible Programs

ASL Tours
Free guided ASL tours are open to the public for each special exhibition. Check our calendar for upcoming dates.

Touch Tours
Touch Tours are specially designed for visitors with visual impairments. Visitors can participate in a guided tour where you can touch sculptures in the sculpture garden while wearing disposable gloves. Link: Touch tour request form

Accessible Tours
Through ICA Miami’s Accessible Tours, participants with disabilities and neurodiverse guests of all ages can experience the museum without crowds or distractions. A social narrative intended to assist guests is available in advance of visiting ICA Miami. Request your Accessible Tour here.
