Magnus Resch, recognized as ‘the world’s leading art market expert’ by CNN, presents his new book, ‘How To Collect Art’ (Phaidon). Following an opening presentation, Magnus Resch will engage in a conversation with Byron Jones, an art collector and former professional football player for the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins. This dialogue will explore the inner workings of the art world and offer a unique perspective on art collecting and its nuances. The event caters to art enthusiasts, whether seasoned collectors or newcomers to the art scene. Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session, book signing, and a reception.

About Magnus

Magnus Resch is the world’s leading art-market economist, serial entrepreneur, and best-selling book author. He teaches art management at Yale University. In 2016, he launched the Magnus app, which works like Shazam for art. Leonardo DiCaprio is an investor and advisor to the company. Magnus holds a PhD in economics and studied at Harvard University, the London School of Economics, and the University of St. Gallen. He has written several books on the art market, and his career has been portrayed in a Harvard Business School case study and in various articles for publications including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, and the Financial Times.
