ICA Miami and the Miami Design District invite families to spend an afternoon exploring the cultural offerings of our museum and the surrounding neighborhood. Families are welcome to share in the experience of ICA Miami’s experimental programming which promote creativity and critical thinking, as well as explore the dynamic Miami Design District.

Family Day is every second Sunday of the month unless stated otherwise. Family Day is free and open to the public.

Puzzles and Games!

March 13, 2016, 1–3pm

Activities

• Scavenger Hunt: Solve the riddles to find public artworks throughout the design district. Win a prize if you can identify all 6 works!


• Art Word Search: Put on your Thinking Cap! Search far and wide for important words used in art in a large scale participatory word search.


• City Construction: Build a new city in this interactive, collaborative project where participants will create towers of different shapes and sizes using pre-made wire mesh structures.


• Puzzles: See if you can put the pieces together to create your very own John Miller artwork! Participants will be given puzzle pieces to assemble one of three works that are currently in John Miller’s solo exhibition at ICA Miami.
