ICA NEXT MEETS connects NEXT level members and above with Miami artists, collectors and innovators in fun, interactive atmospheres. Joining ICA NEXT is easy, and supports year-round free admission, public programs and exhibitions for all at ICA Miami.


ICA NEXT level members and above are invited to a special studio visit of Miami-based artist Clifton Childree. Childree will discuss recent work while giving guests a glimpse into his home studio.


About Clifton Childree


Clifton Childree is an artist and filmmaker who lives and works in Miami, Florida. Childree has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including the Brot Kunsthalle, Vienna; Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna; and Miami Art Museum, Bas Fisher Invitational, and Locust Projects in Miami, Florida. He is a recipient of the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship, the Legal Art Native Seeds Grant and the Florida Individual Artist Fellowship. Childree’s large-scale installations have been commissioned by the Pulse Art Fair, New York; Locust Projects, Miami; the Miami Performing Arts Center/Miami Light Project; Hilger Contemporary Gallery, Vienna; the Young At Art Museum, Ft. Lauderdale; Vienna Museum of Art; Vizcaya Museum, Miami; Deering Estate, Miami; and Hallwalls in Buffalo, New York.
