ICA Miami invites ICA members to a special presentation by artist Tim Stanley, the current resident at MANA and Visiting Writer at the Miami Rail. The artist will present new work entitled “Time,” examining how time operates in a fictional world, and how it can be manipulated to disrupt traditional narrative in order to create new paths through sculpture and literature. The presentation includes an introduction by Gallery Diet owner and Miami Rail founder Nina Johnson-Milewski.

“Time” is the first of a multidisciplinary lecture series called The Ursula Talks. Ursula is an attempt at a three-dimensional narrative, composed of sculpture, drawing, experimental fiction, research writing, art criticism. The Talks function as unique works of art, theoretical renderings of each of the elements that make up the story.
