Saturday Art Prep classes: Drawing for 11-13 year olds
ICA Miami’s Saturday Art Prep classes are designed to help participants improve their drawing and painting skills while allowing them to experiment with traditional and contemporary approaches through the lens of the museum’s exhibitions. Classes are offered for 8-10 and 11-13 year olds with age-appropriate curriculum focusing on foundational art skills at a beginner level.
Our classes for 11-13-year-olds will also help improve your student’s skills in preparation for ICA’s Summer Portfolio Prep course, offered to guide students in developing a competitive portfolio for the art school application process. Participants will also tour ICA Miami’s exhibitions in connection with their studies.
11-13 year old Drawing begins Saturday, October 19 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm.
Taught by local artist Patrick Oleson.
Classes run consecutively for 6 weeks and end on Saturday, November 23.
Registration ends Wednesday, October 16.
Cost: $200 for non-members; $140 for Family Members and above.
