ICA Miami’s Ronni and Andrew Smulian Family Internship Program
ICA Miami internship program aims to address historical race and gender gaps in museums and specifically connect underserved audiences to the museum. Over a 10-week period, the students will experience hands-on work with our community partners and develop an extremely valuable, comprehensive project backed with recommendations and research. By project’s end, students will gain career-enhancing experience, have a broader understanding of the impact museum programs have on the community, and learn how to quantify data gathered from evaluations to develop high-quality, actionable reports to help the institution continue to engage underserved communities.
Selected interns will participate in a 10-week program for approximately 10-12 hours per week. Interns will receive a stipend of $1500 for the entire program. Selected interns will also receive reimbursement for transportation costs.
