Latin American & Caribbean Collectors Council
ICA Miami’s Latin American & Caribbean Collectors Council brings together leaders dedicated to expanding the museum’s engagement with contemporary art initiatives in regions across Latin America and the Caribbean. Through a robust program of events, LACCC seeks to strengthen the narratives of Latin American contemporary art; build discourse, community, and stewardship; and assemble a world-class collection that reflects the rich cross-cultural identities of Miami.
Throughout the season, the Committee will engage in collection and studio visits and convene two meetings for the use of dedicated funds. Dues for the Committee support acquisitions for key works from the 1980s on, as well as major exhibitions, public programs and performances, and publications. The Committee will also plan selective research trips.
Founded in 2026 with Chair Solita Cohen Minski, LACCC is guided by Alex Gartenfeld, Irma & Norman Braman Artistic Director, and Gean Moreno, Director of the Art + Research Center at ICA Miami.
