Create a Joyce Pensato–inspired artwork using a wide range of mark-making tools. Explore how different textures, materials, and techniques can dramatically shift a piece’s mood. Using unconventional materials, we’ll distort familiar cartoon icons to produce bold, playful, and unexpected results.

ICA Miami’s Family Sundays series welcomes children of all abilities to engage with contemporary art through activities inspired by the museum’s exhibitions. The free, one-hour workshops engage families in hands-on art-making and creativity through storytelling, music, movement or art making (rotating weekly). Recommended for children enrolled Pre-K to 2nd grade.
