Family Sundays at ICA Miami: Artmaking with Instructor Asia Perrotti
Inspired by the on-view artist Manoucher Yektai and his richly textured paintings, young artists will explore layered materials and bold mark-making techniques. Using brushes, sponges, and unexpected tools, participants will create their own dense landscapes and nature-inspired artworks, discovering how different mediums interact on the page.
ICA Miami’s Family Sundays series welcomes children of all abilities to engage with contemporary art through activities inspired by the museum’s exhibitions. The free, one-hour workshops engage families in hands-on art-making and creativity through storytelling, music, movement or art making (rotating weekly). Recommended for children enrolled Pre-K to 2nd grade.
