Ring in the New Year with a sampling of Mexico’s genre-defying tastemakers, N.A.A.F.I. Often regarded as the “future of club music” for their fearless embrace of experimental and indigenous folk stylings, N.A.A.F.I. presents performances from collective artists DJ Tayhana, Mexican Jihad, and co-founder Tomás Davo AKA Fausto Bahia.

About N.A.A.F.I.

N.A.A.F.I. is a former club night and now flourishing record label focused on “Ritmos periféricos” or peripheral rhythms based in Mexico City. Operating under the premise that “everything that’s new is exciting,” they have been lauded as the future of club music, unafraid to work with genre-defying artists. While historically N.A.A.F.I. artists maintained regional influence through their use of tribal rhythms such as Guarachero and Costeño, in recent years the label has expanded its reach, working with global artists such as Wrack from Tokya, GAIKA from London, and NYC’s Tygapaw.
