Join ICA Miami, PRIMARY, and ICA NEXT members for a conversation and Q&A with some of Miami’s premier art professionals, including gallerists, consultants, and auctioneers. Craft beer is provided courtesy of Concrete Beach Brewery.

Thinking of starting an art collection? Intimidated about approaching a gallerist? Mystified by the art market in general? From auction houses to private art consulting to operating a gallery, this panel discussion aims to demystify the process of owning contemporary art. Participants will learn how to research prospective artists, effectively interact with gallerists, set a realistic budget for purchasing work, and more. Members are encouraged participate in the conversation by asking a question.

Want to join the conversation and learn more about collecting art? Join today! ICA NEXT members are immersed in today’s global art scene, and are provided with unique opportunities to experience an insider’s view of ICA Miami, network with fellow art enthusiasts, and engage in the museum’s program calendar in new and expanded ways.
