Participants in the Learning Watercolors workshop will create watercolor paintings on paper guided by artist Alejandro Piñeiro Bello. Families will explore the fluidity and freshness of the medium, drawing inspiration from works on view at the museum, the surrounding gardens, nature, sunlight, landscape, and architecture, as well as ideas that emerge through the process of painting.

The program begins at 11 am with an artist meet-and-greet and refreshments. The workshop runs from 11:30 am to 1 pm, followed by lunch in the ICA Miami Sculpture Garden.
