ICA Miami’s two-week Summer Portfolio Prep program is designed to prepare incoming students in grades 6–8 for applying to art magnet high schools. Participants will receive guidance from museum educators to better prepare for the competitive application process through portfolio review and sketchbook-building exercises. Students must present a current portfolio or works in progress to participate in this program. Throughout the course, students will explore the school application process and audition requirements to understand the level of performance expected for successful acceptance into art school.
