Rindon Johnson in Conversation with Diamond Stingily

Artist and writer Rindon Johnson and rising Brooklyn-based artist Diamond Stingily will discuss Stingily’s recent work at the 2018 New Museum Triennial and her first solo museum presentation at ICA Miami.

Rindon Johnson (b. 1990, San Francisco) is an artist and poet based in Brooklyn and Berlin. Johnson has exhibited and performed widely at exhibitions in New York, Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. Johnson’s multidisciplinary art practice blurs the line between photography, sculpture, and performance using various materials such as leather, light, Vaseline, video, photography and wood to explore aspects of lived space, memory, and history.

This program is presented in conjunction with First Fridays at ICA Miami, and made possible by the museum’s Innovation Partner, MINI USA. The museum will remain open for the duration of this event.
