Enrollment is now open for the 2021 Summer Intensive, the Knight Foundation Art + Research Center’s ongoing dialogue on climate and cultural production. This semester will consider the oceanic world’s temporal and historical underpinnings, foregrounding often marginalized ways of knowing.


Visiting faculty include artist, activist, and scholar Dr. Denise Ferreira da Silva; and Dr. Justin Dunnavant, archaeologist and Assistant Professor of Anthropology at UCLA.


These virtual seminars are free for participants accepted into the program. A registered Zoom account is required to participate.
