ICA Miami is proud to announce the online premiere of ICA Performs: Michael Clark Company, available to stream for one night only on YouTube. Organized by ICA Miami and hosted by the National YoungArts Foundation, this performance made its debut in 2016, following a monthlong artist residency by the famed British company. The program pairs Clark’s inventive dance with extraordinary music and the historic architecture of YoungArts’ Jewel Box Theater.

Michael Clark is a legendary cultural figure. Since emerging in the 1980s as a prodigy at London’s Royal Ballet School, he has remained at the forefront of innovation in dance. Clark and his distinctive choreography combine technical rigor and experimentation through interpretations of ballet, punk, Dada, pop, and rock.
