Family Sundays at ICA Miami

Family Sundays at ICA Miami
ICA Miami’s Family Sundays series welcomes children of all abilities to engage with contemporary art through activities inspired by the museum’s exhibitions. The free, one-hour workshops engage families in hands-on art-making and creativity through storytelling, music, movement or art making (rotating weekly). Recommended for children enrolled Pre-K to 2nd grade.
No unattended children; parents/guardians are required to stay with their child.
Reserved tickets are required; tickets are available until 11:45 am on the day of the workshop.
Current Schedule:
Jan 11th - Art Making: Create swirling self-portraits in the style of Andreas Schulze using pipecleaners. Learn about shape, form, color, and how to build almost any image for abstract shapes.
Jan 18th - Storytelling with Krystal Valdes: Inspired by the work of Andreas Schulze, join Ms. Krystal in a musical storytime as we dig deeper into our imaginations on our concepts of nature and go on adventures through books and music beyond our wildest dreams!
Jan 25th - Movement with Paloma Dueñas: Come on a journey from city to seaside in a movement exercise where we'll embody absurd scenes from everyday life, inspired by the work of Andreas Schulze. Let loose and learn the power of movement as a form of expression.
